A family-run exterior cleaning business
Frog Window Cleaning Ltd is a family-run exterior cleaning business based in Hailsham, East Sussex. The business is run by Mark and his two sons, and serves residential and small commercial customers across East Sussex and parts of the wider South East. Services include regular window cleaning, gutter clearing, soffit and fascia cleaning, and conservatory roof cleaning.
Mark has been cleaning windows in East Sussex for over a decade. He started the business as a sole trader, moved over from Crawley, and set up properly in Hailsham. His two sons joined him in the vans as they grew up. In May 2024, the business was restructured as Frog Window Cleaning Ltd, after trading for several years as Gecko Window Cleaning. Same team, same customers, same approach, just a new name on the invoices and a limited company behind it.
Why the name changed
Why Frog and not Gecko?
Fair question. The business traded as Gecko Window Cleaning for years and built up a loyal customer base. When the business grew past the VAT threshold, we took the opportunity to restructure properly as a limited company, and we picked a name we liked better: Frog Window Cleaning Ltd.
The tagline stayed in spirit: “hop online for our prices and to book”. We like the frog. It suits the work (outdoors, pure water, eco-minded) and it gives the business a little personality without being silly about it.
Most of our Gecko customers transferred straight over and haven’t noticed a difference except the logo on the vans.

The small decisions that shape everything
Family-run, and staying that way
Mark runs the business with his two sons. There are no contractors, no subcontractors, and no rotating crew. If you book Frog, Mark and his sons are the ones turning up. That’s the whole reason people stick with us.
A patch we can actually cover
We’re based in Hailsham. We work across East Sussex and into parts of Kent and Surrey. We deliberately don’t try to cover the whole South East, because that’s how service drops. If we tell you we’ll be at your house every six weeks, we mean it.
Fixed prices, written down
Every service on the site has a fixed price list. No quotes, no “I’ll have to see it”, no variable pricing. It’s how we stay consistent and how you know what you’re paying.
About Mark
Mark answers the phone himself
Mark started cleaning windows commercially many years ago, originally working out of Crawley and later moving the business down to Hailsham as the family settled in East Sussex. The business grew into a two-van operation, then a three-van one, then back to a tight two-van family team when it made sense to focus instead of chase growth.
Mark’s two sons have been in the business alongside him from early on, first as weekend help and now full-time. Between them they’ve been cleaning the outsides of East Sussex homes for long enough to know which gates stick, which postcodes have parking, and which villages are two hours round trip even if they look nearby.
Mark answers the phone himself. If you leave a message, he’s the one who rings back.

Where we're based
Our base is in Hailsham, and we cover homes and small commercial properties across East Sussex, including Eastbourne, Heathfield, Uckfield, Polegate, Seaford, Lewes, Battle, Pevensey, and Horam. We also reach into parts of Kent and Surrey for larger jobs and existing regulars.
